Fall Newsletter

It's trailwork season. We've received a proper amount of precip so let's get digging!

Alice bike route - Trail work day (Nov 11th and 18th)
Meet up at 10 am at White Rabbit Trailhead. We suggest you bike up, or carpool.
Ashland Mtn Adventures will be at the quarry at 9:45 am to provide one shuttle for the first 20+ riders. We should have enough tools, but bring your favorite shovel, rake, or trail building tool if you can.

This project was initiated by the landowners who want to relocate 0.3 miles of the trail to a new easement. We are taking this opportunity to make some bike-only single-track trails. RVMBA is working towards creating a bike-only trail from White Rabbit Trailhead to BTI. This is our first step towards that goal. This Green trail has been flagged and will be located between the Old Alice and the new Alice Pedestrian route. The private landowners want the old trail moved to the easements and once this is built, we will no longer have access to the old Alice trail.

This trailwork day is sponsored by Loon outdoors! Food/beverages will be provided after trail work (around 2 pm). Bring gloves and be ready to dig!

Hops N Shop @Public Lands (Nov 16th - Thurs)
Come celebrate the season at Public Lands with food (pizza on the Ooni, tacos on the Blackstone), drinks (Common Block, Moxi), live music, and more. We'll be there representing, come say hi. More details HERE

Butte Falls
At the public meeting in Butte Falls, we had some representation from the mountain bike community, but we are still looking for more locals to get involved with this exciting project. Please contact us at info@rvmba.org if you are interested and want to learn more. Check out the local news article here.

Dollar Mountain (Grants Pass) Update
The city of Grants Pass received a $350,000 grant and the city will match another $350,000 to carry out this $700,000 trail building project. Construction should start next year! The network will include some bike-only trails with steep, technical features. Trails will be closed to motorcycles and ATVs, but will be open for e-bikes.
