Ashland Dirt Jumps

Creating a better riding and skill-building experience for youth and beginning riders in Ashland.

Spring 2025 Update

The new pump track at the dirt jumps is open!

Using member fees, we trucked in 80 cubic yards of soil and rebuilt the pump track. Special thanks to Brian Samhammer's heroic efforts for leading the work and dedicating countless volunteer hours to hand-finishing all the berms and rollers.

Let's keep this amazing community asset rolling for years to come. As a reminder, please abide by the following rules:

  • bicycles only! no RC cars, no E Dirt bikes, Pit Bikes, etc

  • wear a helmet

  • ride within your limits

  • please don't ride in opposite directions when there is another rider present

  • avoid walking or running on the riding surface

  • don't walk up or down the sides of the obstacles or turns

  • no dogs

  • never ride it when wet

Update 2022: The New Dirt Jumps Park is OPEN!

Work took place in June 2022!

The Board of Directors for RVMBA hired professional trail builder Earthworx LLC to improve and rebuild the Ashland Dirt Jumps Park for a budget of $15,000. Private fundraising has been completed for the park on city land, in partnership with Ashland Parks and Recreation Department.

This project dramatically improved an overly worn down park, improves drainage and weed control, and will create a better riding and skill-building experience for youth and beginning riders in Ashland. The rebuilt park fills an immediate need in the region, as delays continue on the more permanent asphalt pump track and skills park that is to be implemented in a new East Main Park. (Plans here.)

This rebuild wouldn't be possible without the financial support of RVMBA members who gave generously to the project.
